Once I received your form, I'll review your information and get back with you within 24-48 hours via the email you provide. From there, I’ll respond with a proposed completion date and any other questions I may have.
Images that are high quality are best as they allow me to see as much detail as possible. The more detail your photo shows, the more detail your painting will have.
It’s best to submit a photo taken at the angle that you would like to have your portrait painted. I only know what I see in your photo, so, for example, if you’d like your pet or house painted straight-on, working with a photo at that angle will be most helpful.
If you’re having trouble deciding on which photo you’d like to use for your portrait, feel free to submit several and I’ll be happy to help you choose.
If there is anything you would like omitted from or added to your house portrait, please let me know when filling out the inquiry form.
Examples of omissions/additions I've received are as follows: remove the garage, make bushes smaller in front of the home, remove all landscaping, add fall leaves to trees in front of home, etc.

All of the portrait sizes I offer are standard sizes so you can find a mat and frame for your painting just about anywhere. If you’re interested in custom sizing, please let me know when filling out the inquiry form and we can talk about what you have in mind.

Please note that pet portrait prices are for one pet only. If you’d like to include two pets in one portrait, please let me know and I’ll be happy to give you a quote.
After you submit your inquiry form, you’ll be directed to page where you can pay a $100 deposit to secure a spot on my calendar.
Your deposit will be applied to the total cost of your portrait. However, if you decide to cancel your order at any time, your $100 deposit is non-refundable.
Once I start working on your painting, I will check in with you and send your final invoice that will contain a link to pay by credit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, or PayPal. Payment is required in full before the painting is shipped.
Absolutely! Photos of your painting will be sent via email once your portrait is complete. I want you to love your portrait, so if there are any changes you would like to make, I'm happy to do so before shipment. Changes may incur an additional charge.
*Due to the nature of watercolor painting, certain adjustments may not be possible once a painting is complete.
Paintings typically take up to a week to finish. However, I’m typically booked out 1-2 months in advance. If you’d like to commission a painting, I highly suggest filling out the inquiry form and reserving your spot on my calendar.
If you are needing your painting by a certain date, please let me know when filling out the inquiry form and I’ll let you know if I am able to accommodate your timeline. Rush fees may apply.
I ship paintings via USPS Priority Mail. Paintings are placed in a clear cellophane sleeve with a sturdy cardboard backer then bubble wrapped and placed in a cardboard box for safe shipping.
While I’m not skilled in painting faces, but I am happy to take on back-facing portraits of people.

Custom work can take up 6 weeks to complete after all of the necessary details are received for the painting (photos, pet name, etc.). If you are needing your custom order by a certain date, please let me know upon ordering. Rush orders may incur a charge.
Art prints and original artwork ship within 1-3 business days unless otherwise noted.
Orders within the Continental U.S. typically arrive within 3-5 days after shipping for standard shipping. However, once a package is in the hands of USPS, I am not responsible for any delays. For more information, please visit Terms & Conditions.
Customers may experience package delays from USPS especially during the holiday season.
Please report any damaged items to email@example.com within 7 days of delivery.
If for some reason you are unhappy with your order, please contact me within 48 hours of delivery at firstname.lastname@example.org and I'll be happy to take care of your issue.
Custom orders are non-refundable.
