About the Painting:
I painted this piece from a photo I took while hiking at Pinnacle Mountain in the spring. I really loved how the pine trees naturally framed the mountain and knew instantly that I wanted to paint the scene. While the colors in my photo are mainly greens and blues, I wanted my painting to reflect the warm colors of autumn. This painting is meant to be a reminder of the beautiful scenery we have in Arkansas, especially during the fall.
