This beach scene is from a photo I took when I was visiting Seaside, Florida in late spring 2022. I looked up and saw this woman walking along the water and was instantly inspired to paint. I knew the composition of her body movement, her classic beach hat and sunglasses, the way the wind was blowing her sarong, and the motion of the waves would make for a great painting.
