When I started working on this painting, I hadn't intended to add people jumping in the lake, but as the painting developed, I felt like it was lacking, so I decided to try adding people. I really love the way it turned out. It reminds me of growing up in Arkansas and times spent at the lake fishing, riding in a boat, or jumping in the water; the good old days.
